N. Cerrice Dawson is a seasoned program leader with more than twenty years of experience designing, implementing, and managing high‑impact initiatives across the nonprofit, education, and community development sectors. Known for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership style, and deep commitment to strengthening communities, Cerrice has led national and regional teams, driven multimillion‑dollar program portfolios, and built cross‑sector partnerships that advance educational equity, early learning, and workforce development.
She is a Certified Grants Specialist and a certified Franklin Covey Four Disciplines of Execution leader. Her leadership has been recognized through numerous honors, including being named a Georgia Young Gamechanger, participating in the American Express Leadership Academy, and being part of the inaugural class of Georgia Education Policy Fellows.
Cerrice brings her extensive experience in youth programming, program creation, and relationship cultivation to the CBPC. Her work blends innovation, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence to support the Center’s growing national impact.
When she is not advocating and creating educational opportunities, Cerrice enjoys spending time with her family and friends—and she never misses a chance to cheer on her beloved Dallas Cowboys.
